You see graffiti everywhere, don’t you? Especially in big cities like San Francisco. Well, apparently the City Attorney is especially pissed about Justin Bieber’s “Purpose” promo, tagged on the sidewalk of one of the city streets. According to CBS News, Dennis Herrera (the city attorney) wrote a letter to Universal Music Group claiming that even after recent rainy weather, the writing won’t come off the sidewalk which is going to force him to hire public work crews to have it removed. Apparently that isn’t cheap and he doesn’t want that money to come out of the bay area’s pocket. It’s unclear if Herrera just wants someone to foot the bill for the clean up or if he actually wants to prosecute. Either way, I don’t really see anyone coming forward. That would be like someone using the last roll of toilet paper and not replacing it and then admitting that it was them that did that. You don’t admit things like that–you keep them to yourself and keep it moving.
