I’ve heard of people who pinch pennies but this is extreme. Zachary Tucker lives in Edwardsville, Illinois and recently got a pizza delivered by Papa John’s Pizza and apparently had nothing better to do than read the receipt where he noticed a .16 delivery tax. Zachary was not happy about this and according to the Madison Record, went as far as researching Illinois law where he found out that a business can only tax a delivery fee if it’s included in the selling price. Of course the next sane thing to do would be file a class action lawsuit…..which he did. He wants the pizza company to cover damages, pay legal fees and of course make things right with him and everyone else who was wrongfully charged. My dad always tells me to open all my mail because you never know when there could be a check inside. This story is making me a believer. I wouldn’t want to miss 16 cents.
