I can’t speak for EVERYONE, but I know a good amount of people that love a good Twitter beef.
Sometimes, things said in a Twitter beef can become catch phrases for the whole entire year.
For example, I don’t think anyone is going to forget the things said in the Kanye/Wiz Khalifa beef anytime soon. There’s a group of guys who are majorly capitalizing on this by making T-shirts with some of the most popular phrases from the recent twitter beef, and selling them.
TMZ is reporting that so far there are two options, one shirt says, “I Own Your Child!!!!” and the other says, “You Let A Stripper Trap You.”
The shirts are $25 a piece and there are 500 shirts in the first batch. Take a wild guess as to how much of that first batch was sold already? 80% of the first batch were sold, meaning 10k minus cost is in their pockets. Think of all the future twitter wars they can make money off of!
