Joe Lentini went out for a business dinner at Bobby Flay Steak at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City the other night. As the waitress was going over wine options, she quoted one bottle as costing “thirty-seven fifty“, according to NJ.com. Thinking she meant $37,50, Lentini ordered it. Only when he got his bill did Lentini find out that the bottle–Screaming Eagle, Oakville 2011–actually cost $3,750. “I don’t know much about wine at all,“ explained a mortified Lentini, who pronounced the spendy bottle “okay“ and ended up talking the restaurant down to $2,200 before vacating the premises.
