Back in the 90’s, Jeff Waters from Florida purchased a blank check off a homeless man named Tito for $100 bucks. Tito told Waters that he could make the check for any amount he wanted, an unlimited amount of money was at his disposal. That seems like a fair trade right? $100 for any amount of money! Waters has saved the check all this time and finally decided it was time to cash it and make his life long dream come true. What’s his long time dream? To open an Italian restaurant, but not just any Italian restaurant. According to E! Online, Waters had very specific details involving this restaurant. For starters, he wanted it to be 80 million square feet, yes you read that right, 80 million. He wanted to be able to accommodate 30 million at a time. Seems legit. But wait, it gets better, he also wanted it to be underwater so that the people dining could watch sharks while they eat. To make his dream a reality he needed a cool $368 billion so that’s exactly how much he made the check out for. He also made the check out to “cash” instead of his name which you can’t do (I know this because I worked at a bank for many years). The bank turned him away, shocker, and the cops were called and he was arrested for forging a check. Of course he put all the blame on Tito for giving him the check in the first place. It doesn’t end there, when the cops search Waters they found bath salts and Chinese throwing stars. Back to the drawing board for Waters.
