We thought Jared Fogle AKA Jared the Subway guy was being charged with or involved in child pornography but it’s way worse than any of us could have imagined.
According to TMZ, Jared has turned himself into the FBI and is being charged with “travel to engage in elicit sexual conduct with minors.” We don’t know too much but what we do know is disturbing enough. From 2010 to 2013 Jared was traveling between New York and Indiana and engaging in sex acts with minors. He was actually paying for sex and was quoted in a text message saying “the younger the girl, the better”. One of the victims was as young as 14 years old and it wasn’t just girls, he would get pictures of the kids he assaulted which were both girls and boys. It gets even worse than that, his friend and head of his foundation had a hidden camera in his house and would send pictures and videos from it to Jared. The age of victims in the videos goes as low as 6 years old. Jared will serve at LEAST 5 years in prison and will be paying $100,000 per victim in restitution which should total out to $1.4 million. He obviously also has to register as a sex offender and he must participate in a sexual disorder program.
Subway tweeted, “We have already ended our relationship with Jared and have no further comment.”
