Mirror.co.uk says that the woman was playing a slot machine at a casino in Washington and the machine “declared her to be a winner” of more than $8 million- but the casino isn’t giving her the money!

The article says that the casino determined that her winning payout was an “error” and they gave her $80 bucks!
The woman said:
“I was very excited and happy. Then, I couldn’t believe it.”
“They shut off the machine, took it away, printed out a ticket and gave me $80.”
The casino says that there is a sticker on the machine that says “a malfunction of the machine voids all pays and plays.”
They also say that the slot machine that the woman was playing “only offered a maximum jackpot of $20,000, so an $8.5 million-win would have been impossible.”
The casino is reportedly looking into how an error like this could occur and the woman is looking for an attorney.
She said:
“What I expect at the very least, is to create awareness about how the casinos work, when the players get the big winnings!”
